I have positively been Oscar the Grouch over real estate in Portland Metro for 2009-2010. Here are some good things, not only if you’re buying a home, but if you want to sell your home.
2010 dawned, and for no reason I know, I was swamped with people wanting to look at homes. This does not happen to me very often. Moreover, my Twitter network lit up. Fred Stewart in North Portland. Mike Rohrig on the West Side. Jake Planton at Rose City Mortgage. Leissa Geibert with The Mortgage Consultants. Ron Ares, a broker somewhere in PDX. They all have stuff happening.
Lockbox activity is up, like a lot, the last week.
By the way, I don’t know the Twitter people above, except for Leissa. And Jake, whom my wife and I met at a Gay Pride event.
Activity is also up for Cynthia Hoskins, in Hawaii, and Brad Coy in San Francisco. We’ve never met, either, but it’s funny how we’re getting to kow one another.
But things were good last week, and so far, this.

Activity is indeed back to pre-holiday levels. We’ll check your mood after the government interventions expire
What’re you trying to do, make me grumpy again?
Hey. If it’s good enough for General Motors, it’s good enough for…America? –;
