Vestas Americas, a branch of the Dutch company who makes wind turbines, announced layoffs of 114 because of low demand. Fifteen people in Portland are included. Read it here, in OregonLive. Bad for Portland, especially the South Waterfront, who has experienced enough bad news.
The Box and One at 28th and Ankeny. The Burnside Rocket at E. 11th. These are just two of the very cool developments by Kevin Cavenaugh.
